The largest elementary school in the district required a tear down and rebuild of 111,283 s.f. It is a multi-cultural school with library, music and art spaces, classrooms, and amphitheater, offices, and full gymnasium. The school’s mechanical design and construction features a number of green, energy saving elements including ground source heat pumps, geothermal heating and cooling systems, solar hot water, LED lights, and much of the old building was recycled. Pipe Construction, Inc. acted as the Prime Mechanical and provide constructability reviews, sequencing, scheduling and advisement to create efficiency with other subcontractors.
