In Phase 1, to prepare for Phases 2 & 3, modernizing portions of the existing school to connect all systems required collaborating sequencing and phasing of teams. As the prime Mechanical, we participated with the GC/CM contractor and other subcontractors in selective modernization and remodeling of portions of building 100, earthquake safety improvements to buildings 100, 300 and the gymnasium, and replacing the roof on building 100 and part of the gymnasium. Onsite and offsite utilities and limited site development was included in the project.

Ingraham High School Modernization of an historic building included a 2-story addition with 18 new classrooms. As the Mechanical Prime, our extensive mechanical and plumbing included two new science labs, water safety improvements throughout the school, upgraded HVAC and routing.

The site was occupied and in a tight urban area with Aurora Avenue/Hwy 99 2 blocks away, I-5 was 4 blocks away with nearby homes, government buildings and commercial retail all within the construction zone. We participated in phasing and managing major parts of coordination with other subcontractors to keep the public safe and stay on schedule for a fall school opening.
