The new 90,000 s.f. , 3-story building required extensive phasing due to being built during one of the wettest seasons on record and the Bennett project had difficult soils issues, on a tight site. A landslide was triggered and issues surrounding this caused the project to be a phased project condensing significant portions of work including the mechanical. Our team assisted in solving the issues surrounding underground work that resulted from soils and helped in the new schedules. Bennett Elementary opened on time even with these challenges.

Pipe Construction focused on being highly collaborative and pro-active to ensure the owner’s time goals were met. The earthwork firm put critical footings in the wrong location which affected the Mechanical schedule significantly. To keep this on schedule, Pipe dug out the incorrectly located footings which kept the project on schedule.
